Summary
In a fantasy world full of magic and mystery, a restaurant sits quietly next to a busy marketplace, hiding an unusual secret.
You are the chef and owner of this restaurant, ostensibly a place that serves exotic cuisine, but in reality, you are a warlock dedicated to an evil god.
Not only do you have to serve delicious food to your regulars, but you also have to choose the right ingredients for your hosts to use as offerings for their guests
Roles / Responsibilities
Served as Design Leader, overseeing level and quest flow, coordinating two designers (one systems/balance, one narrative/writing), and keeping production aligned with milestones.
Designed core levels, tasks, and light puzzle integration, ensuring clear objectives, smooth pacing, and cohesive progression.
Created key UI system,s including the Main Menu, Recipe UI, and Character Status UI, focusing on readability and player guidance.
Design Highlights
Designed and built the 3-level structure, including blockout, layout iteration, and post-optimization.
Designed 10 quests/tasks and organized the mission flow to support the core gameplay loop.
Designed light puzzle/stealth gameplay using item combination and NPC line-of-sight avoidance.
Implemented automated NPC behavior and the cooking system in UE5 Blueprints.
As Design Lead, coordinated two other designers’ tasks and integrated their work into the level and quest updates.
